Kristiina Hiukka is the Founder and President of the Women of Fifty and the Chair of the “Women in Innovation Summit 2012 – Women of the Next Fifty” or WINS in Seattle on September 22nd, 2012. She turned 50 in 2010 and is on a mission to acknowledge the wisdom of women in their midlife. She is also the Chief Coaching Officer of the Seattle-based, boutique coaching and training firm, Big Agenda Coaching. Coaching leaders in happiness is high on the agenda for Kristiina, because happy people are proven to be more successful and make better leaders. She especially enjoys working with women leaders in and around their fifties.
Since 2000, her uniquely tailored approach has resulted in extraordinary achievement for teams and individuals at client companies worldwide, including Nokia, Microsoft, Vulcan, Bank of America, Verity Credit Union, Kodak, Symantec and Lumera.
Kristiina holds a Master’s Degree in Speech Communication from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, and professional coach certifications from the International Coach Federation and the Coaches Training Institute. She is Co-Chief Value Officer of The Executive Network of Seattle and a founding member of the Microsoft Alumni Foundation. Kristiina also serves as an Honorary Vice Consul of Finland for Washington State.
She co-authored Tiedon Kauppiaat (Merchants of Knowledge) about the value of coaching in 2007, and is a partner in Ambitio Group Oy based in Helsinki, Finland, a results-focused coaching service for leaders and teams in Europe. In 2010 she published The Write Life Diary – Write Your Life from Good to Great about the power of journaling.
